We are Lewotobi.

Building the tools we wish we had while working on dive boats and managing shops.

Our Mission

To be the anchor of divers' expectations. We believe every dive site has a story, and the best person to tell that story is the one who dives it every day.

Why Maps?

Generic maps don't understand the ocean. We build maps that prioritize dive sites, shop locations, and real-time updates from guides.

How it started

Steven Diving

I'm Steven. In 2024, I traveled to Komodo for a divemaster internship, expecting nothing more than currents and coral. My journey took an unexpected turn when the Lewotobi eruption grounded all flights, trapping me on Flores Island.

Stranded but surrounded by world-class diving, I noticed something strange. The dive shops—despite witnessing daily miracles underwater—struggled to show it. They relied heavily on generic Google Reviews for marketing, missing the chance to showcase the specific reefs and creatures their staff saw every morning.

That's when the idea hit me: What if a dive shop could draw their own map?

I built Lewotobi to give dive professionals a voice. A tool to anchor divers' expectations with real, visual data before they even book a flight. Because the best person to tell the story of a dive site isn't a satellite—it's the guide who just surfaced.

Clarity

No more guessing where the boat is going. Real data, real sites.

Community

Built for pros, by pros. We thrive when the dive community thrives.

Simplicity

Powerful tools don't have to be complicated to use.
